“We really want to try and develop good habits with our players so that we don’t have attrition on our squad,” Saban said, “but I think if you look across the board you’ll see a certain amount of attrition in most programs. Sometimes because of player choice, sometimes because the principles and values of the program are not being met to the standard of excellence that someone in the organization determines how the organization will be represented.”
