What Is Next For The Alabama Crimson Tide?
No longer is Alabama pleading with recruits to give the Tide a chance, with Coach Saban and the new enthusiasm at the Capstone great recruits are flocking to Tuscaloosa, Al to become part of a program on the rise. The Tide is rolling and great players want to ride that wave to fame and glory.

The Birmingham News: RECRUITING NOTEBOOK
Trent Richardson, the South’s top running back, remains committed to Alabama after visiting Tuscaloosa over the weekend. “Oh yeah, man, definitely,” the 5-foot-10, 210-pounder from Pensacola, Fla., said Sunday. “Everything was real good.” Richardson said he would take an official visit to Florida next week despite his commitment to the Crimson Tide and coach Nick Saban, who showed a lighter side this time around. “He’s down to earth, real down to earth,” Richardson said of Saban. “A lot of people think he’s serious all the time. He ain’t no mean guy. He can cracks jokes, too.”

Recapping the Tide’s recruiting weekend …
Alabama has closed the book on its first big visit weekend of the New Year, having suitably rolled out the red carpet for an impressive committed and uncommitted prospects. Each is headed back home after an experience that included hanging out with current Tide players, a Friday night dinner at Chuck’s in downtown Tuscaloosa, a special visit to an illuminated Bryant-Denny Stadium, meetings about academics, today’s b-ball game, plenty of conversations with UA assistant coaches and breakfast this morning at the home of Nick Saban.

Roll Tide!
