Trent Richardson Update: Time for another Alabama recruiting bonanza-rama…
Trent Richardson’s recruitment has left everybody guessing. Will he stick with his commitment to Alabama? This week, ESPN.com’s recruiting guru Tom Luginbill offered this opinion on the five-star running back from Pensacola, Fla. “Everybody talks about, will he stay or will he go?” Luginbill said. “I think he stays. If he would’ve done it (de-committed), he would’ve done it by now.”

Alabama lands commitment No. 22: Ed Stinson
Alabama pulled a prospect out of south Florida today when defensive end/linebacker Ed Stinson committed to the Crimson Tide ahead of the local Miami Hurricanes.He is No. 91 in the Press-Register’s Super Southeast 120. Rivals has him as the 48th-best prospect in the state of Florida. He chose Alabama offered reported scholarship offers from Auburn, Florida State, LSU and Miami. Other similar articles:

Croom ‘destroyed’ myth minority coaches can’t succeed
Croom talked about the impact his hiring had at MSU along with the success the Bulldogs enjoyed. Croom was named SEC Coach of the Year in 2007 after leading MSU to a 8-5 record and a win in the Liberty Bowl. “I think some of the myths about minorities not being able to function or lead a program, particularly in the South … I think we destroyed those,” Croom said.
