Eleven Bama players have off-season surgery
Nick Saban disclosed on National Signing Day that Julio Jones had offseason surgery. The wide receiver wasn’t alone. Ten other players had minor surgeries to clean up nagging injuries. Most of the players will be ready for spring drills, which are tentatively scheduled to start March 23. Two players will be held out of contact this spring, which culminates April 18 with the A-Day Game at 2 p.m. Receiver Earl Anthony had surgery on his right shoulder and will be held out of contact. Roy Upchurch had neck surgery and also won’t have contact this spring. Other similar articles:

Can Auburn make recruiting gains in-state?
Auburn has made it no secret that it plans to grab its share of top in-state recruits. But is that possible? The issue is that Nick Saban has essentially sealed off the state, grabbing 15 of the state’s top 20 prospects over the last two years. Auburn’s in-state haul among that elite group? Zero.
