Four days spent glued to the NFL Network are over. The Alabama guys seemed to do pretty well. Four out of five did, at least. Now, I’ve scoured the Internet to try to find times and stats, so forgive me if some are unofficial. I’ll try to have them as accurate as possible.
Time to sleep for Antoine Caldwell
Antoine Caldwell Journal: I got back late Sunday night. The Combine was nothing but straining. You’re pushing yourself in everything you do. It’s more mental than anything. When I got home Sunday, I was finally able to relax. The Wonderlic test is probably the surprise of the week. It was much easier than the practice tests I took. The biggest thing about the Combine is you don’t sleep.
Anybody Crimson Caravanning?
Anybody with hopes of cruising with Alabama coach Nick Saban this summer will be pretty upset. That won’t happen in the 2008 version of Cruisin’ with The Tide. Nor will Saban be involved in stuff like this. Instead, the athletics department has created another way for fans to chill out with a plethora of UA officials, including Saban.
