Linebacker shift may be on at Bama
Alabama may be considering splitting up its inside linebacker tandem of Rolando McClain and Dont’a Hightower. Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban certainly didn’t make that announcement on National Signing Day, but he did note Alabama’s need for a more effective rush from the edge while reviewing his just-signed crop of linebackers. “I think I fit outside or inside,” [Nico] Johnson said. “He talked to me about playing inside, because they’re moving Hightower to an outside rusher. So they talked to me about playing inside. I’m going to have to beat somebody out for a spot.”

I believe Trent Richardson will be better than advertised. There is no question that this recruiting class is LOADED with instant impact players but I would like to hear an educated opinion about how well this young and talented group can fill the void of loss of senior leadership with this influx of quality depth that has yet to be SEC battle tested. We have the best coaches in the business and guys like Upchurch , Ro-mac, Hightower, and Cody that have made their presence felt in the meat-grinder known as the SEC, but there is no substitution for experience , so how quick can our studs transition to the Big-Show? I absolutely can’t wait to find out!!! Yeah ALABAMA, Drown ‘em TIDE!!!!!!

I would also like for the record to show that I would take Trent Richardson over Rueben Randle for recruting. This is not just ‘sour-grapes’ either. We alresdy have the best receiver in college football [ he has some dynamite help in this years recruiting class too] now we have a stable of horses that put the one at the Kentucky derby to shame. Granted they are young but everyone saw what kind of ‘Punch’ that Ingram brings last year and with Upchurch you can’t afford not to play him on at least 3 units, he is just that good. I BELIEVE Richardson will bring home the Bacon, the Ham, the FARM!!!!!!!! Eeyi-Eeyi-ROLLLLLLLLL TIDEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

Bama is well on its way to becoming a machine where there is not much difference between the 1s, 2s and 3s. We will soon be reloading instead of rebuilding.

    Roll Tide,
